pancake numbers
Pancake number  $p_n$  represents the maximal number of pieces in which a pancake (or a circle) can be divided into by  $n$  linear cuts. They are the bidimensional version of cake numbers.

In general,

Pancake numbers are often called lazy caterer numbers, or, more formally, central polygonal numbers.
